In Q3 2025, the performance of top photo and video applications on the iOS platform in Norway showcased intriguing trends. According to Sensor Tower, these apps experienced varying patterns in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

CapCut - Video Editor from Bytedance Pte. Ltd saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, culminating at approximately $43.3K by the end of September. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, peaking at 3K. However, there was a gradual decline in weekly active users, from around 74K at the start of the quarter to 57K by the end.

Instagram maintained a consistent presence, with weekly revenue peaking at $10.5K mid-July before declining to $3.5K by the end of the quarter. Downloads hovered around 1.9K, while active users remained steady at approximately 165K throughout the quarter.

Google Photos: Backup & Edit experienced a moderate rise in weekly revenue, reaching $29.6K in the last week of September. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 2.2K and settling at 1.6K by quarter end. Active users showed an upward trend, closing at 146K.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor from Canva saw its weekly revenue peak at $16.6K. Downloads showed growth, peaking at 2.1K towards the end of August. Weekly active users also increased, ending at 9K.

Finally, POV – Disposable Camera Events faced a decline in revenue, starting at $1K and dropping to $469. Downloads also decreased from 2.1K to 757, while active users remained stable around 11.4K.
